A new update to Facebook Messenger brings Facbook's new "Chat Heads" feature to your Android, regardless of whether or not you've installed Facebook Home.
Now, when you're using other apps or you're lingering around your home screen, Messenger messages will pop up with the Chat Head icon of the person you're communicating with, and you can dive right into your conversation without leaving the app you're currently looking at.
If you're getting too distracted, all you have to do is swipe down from the Chat Heads message and the Chat Head will disappear (basically just like what Zuckerberg does in this embarrassing clip).
The new feature makes Messenger much more useful since you can actually use it whenever you want, from whatever app you want. I've already used the feature and I like it quite a lot...it just might be the best thing Facebook mobile has ever come up with (which isn't really saying much).
To disable Chat Heads, all you need to do is go into the settings menu in your Facebook Messenger app.
You can download the New Facebook Messenger with Chat Heads from the Google Play Store as an update by clicking here. Let us know whether you found the update useful, too!
