There's been more news about the X Phone by Motorala and this is may be some suprising information. It's nice to know that its appearance is something that we can at least bet on: it's been reported that the illusive headset may come out in over 20 colors.
Guy Kawasaki hinted on his Google+ page that the X Phone will be customizable and the speculated colors of the rainbows is just one more hint that makes us believe this could be true. Some of the other rumours that we heard were a little far-fetched: a 4000 mAh battery, a saphire glass display that is three times harder than Gorilla Glass, as well as a quad-core 2GHy Qualcomm Snapdragon 800. The rumours surrounding the colors seem to be much more believable than this other smartphone on steroids.
According to Phonearena, their sources also allege that you'll be able to choose the screen size, RAM and case material. It seems quite improbable that smartphones will be as customizable as today's Nike shoes, where you can chose all the designs and shapes ofyour wildest dreams.
I think that it will be great to finally have a phone with so many different color choices, which will be more interesting than the standard grey-scale that most phones come in. So far there's been no rumor surrounding an exact release date, but apparently it should be in the second half of 2013.
